Fake eggs, fake cooking oil ....from China

Since the 1990s fake chicken eggs have been made in China, said to cost half the price of the genuine ones. Also thrown-away cooking oil is being used in some eateries and restaurants in China. All these in the quest for a fast buck. And false eggs are found in South-East Asia. I have bought a few from the supermarts and sundry goods shops. Even salted eggs are no longer what they claim to be - the york is clearly fake when cooked, and so is the white. Chemicals and other toxic stuff are masqueraded as foods. Terrible world we are living in today.

Typical Asian Drivers

Parking and some mannerisms of our car drivers. Surprisingly overtaking and cutting into your lanes are left out, which are outstanding daily feats on our roads. So this sketch is not typical but comical.

2016 CNY Riot Hong Kong Mongkok

There was an all-night riot on 8th February 2016 when Hong Kong authorities disallowed unlicenced hawkers from selling their goods in the Kowloon area of Mong Kok. The police fired a few shots into the air and this started the riot in which some police officers were injured. The rioters started a fire on the street and hurled bricked and bottles at the police. The police withstood the riot and the streets were cleared of debris.

Don't mess with the Hong Kongers.

If the short video does not play, please complain to Google Blogger - I have sent them several complaints to no avail.

Maybe they want me to stop blogging on their blogspot. But they have not officially told me to stop.

Hollywood Cemetery is not in Hollywood

Hollywood Cemetery is a large, sprawling cemetery located
next to Richmond, Virginia's Oregon Hill neighborhood at
412 South Cherry Street. Characterized by rolling hills and
winding paths overlooking the James River, it is the resting
Monroe and John Tyler, as well as the only Confederate
States President, Jefferson Davis. It is also the resting place
of 28 Confederate generals, more than any other cemetery
in the country; these include George Pickett and J.E.B. Stuart
